Privacy Policy

Solar Reports collects the information needed to generate monthly solar plant report previews, authenticate users, process subscriptions, and provide PDF export.

User-entered plant data, metrics, incidents, and comments are sent to OpenAI to generate the report text. Do not submit information you are not authorized to process through third-party AI services.

Clerk handles authentication data, including email-based sign-in. Stripe handles payment data, subscription status, invoices, and billing portal access. Solar Reports does not store card details.

The app does not provide report history and does not intentionally save generated reports after the request completes. Browser session storage may temporarily keep a generated report so a user can return from checkout and download it.

Operational logs and monitoring may record technical metadata such as route names, status codes, and error categories. Report content, payment secrets, and API keys should not be logged.
